Every word in Scripture is a HUMAN word,

Every word in Scripture is a HUMAN word, written by  male person, therefore it comes to us through a human filter which was the world view of the writer at that time.. No word in scripture comes direct from the Voiced of God.  It was received by a flawed and biased human. No writer of a thousand years ago could imagine a society constructed upon human rights.

Who speaks for God today?  To use God's word to judge others has a long and terrible human history. Any devout persons hoping to follow God's word should know that. Otherwise some idolatry of the written word is present, being used by evil, against the loving and merciful will of this mystery we call God. To quote Scripture to judge another reinforces the Dark Side and cannot come from God.
